While it doesn't give all your creatures haste, one thing to remember is that most decks often only need to give one new creature haste per turn, which means this basically gives all your creatures haste most of the time

This can be a significant upside if you happen to get a removal spell or board wipe that you'd rather not use at that moment

Scion of the Ur-Dragon is also the best Dragon commander, because it can be any Dragon in your deck, and you can very easily kill off your opponents in a single attack from this shapeshifting beast of a Creature

Another pet card of mine is Elixir of Immortality, as I believe that it is always good for a deck to have a method to shuffle ones graveyard into their library, especially given the low mana cost for that effect
